One of my favorite parts of the holidays are getting new festive pajamas! This year we are headed somewhere warm the week before christmas so I bought these with the flamingos or palm trees!!

The fog has been relentless in Milwaukee for the past week. I had to throw on some bight colors to try to break away from the gloominess! I love this kelly green cardigan for spring transition and even into the summer. I love kelly green with navy and cannot wait to pair this with a navy and white striped skirt or dress! This striped top one of my new favorite items. I love the contrasting stripe ruffle trim down the front, its perfect for work or play!

I have a short work week this week as I am taking off Friday to head to Minneapolis to pick up my Wedding Dress! It was not supposed to be ready until March but it is here early and I cannot even wait to try it on again!

My hat almost blends right in with the leaves on the trees!! I love this pop of yellow with an otherwise neutral outfit. This top for 9.99 is a favorite staple of mine. Perfect for running weekend errands!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Dave was in Chicago for an interview so I went there Friday night for dinner with his family. We poured over photos from his parents most recent state park trip to the badlands. They visit a state park every year and are trying to check each off their list. This is totally something Dave and I would love to do! We are thinking Alaska or Canada next summer for a fun adventure!

Sometimes my favorite outfits are the most simple. I love jeans paired with a great white top. I love this one because of the deep v-neck. ALSO. These new leopard heels are AMAZING.

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!

This dress is one of my favorite articles of clothing I have ever owned. My mind often drifts off to potential outfits and sometimes I REALLY fall in love with my ideas. I love this entire outfit from head to toe and loved putting it together. This is a complete outfit to me because it has so many components...so much personality. Just like me!

P.S: This dress is going to be on repeat going into fall with opaque black tights.

I burnt my finger so badly on a frying pan last night that it is so hard to type. Today at work should be fun seeing as I am typing on a computer or a calculator ALL day! I am so excited that it is friday because two of my besties are coming to visit me in Milwaukee!! I have planned so many fun things and just cannot even wait to see them!

About this outfit. I love mixing prints...i'ts one of my favorite ways to have fun with putting an outfit together. This +Old Navy tee is so comfy and will be a perfect layering piece moving forward into fall. You can do so much with navy and white stripes!

This is absolutely one of my favorite outfits of all time. I saw this skirt in the J.Crew catalog and knew that if there was one item I needed going into fall this was it. I can't wait to wear it with cozy sweaters, tights and boots! I made it work for more of a summer look by pairing it with this cute graphic tee I picked up at Nordstrom Rack, I threw on my tuxedo vest for an edgier look.

I AM SO HAPPY IT'S FRIDAY!

This is quite literally the first weekend since MAY that I have had not a single plan for the weekend. I almost don't know what to do with myself. With Dave and I living in different cities I am almost always packing up my bags and hitting the road on Fridays after work. To have a weekend with no plans is so incredibly rare. I am going to shop for more apartment decor...finally and completely get the new apartment organized and do some major work on the blog. I also plan to sleep in enjoy what should be a very relaxing weekend.
