Yesterday I gave you guys some Valentines Day ideas and so today I thought I would give some outfit ideas for whatever you have planned. The heart sweatshirt is just so adorable, if you are laying low on Valentines day this could be a cute option. For a flirty fun look I absolutely LOVE these sequin leggings, I got so many compliments when I wore them on New Years Eve and they will be equally amazing for Valentines Day especially paired with this light pink moto jacket I am crazy about!! Lastly, if you are going to really dress up for Valentines Day, can I  suggest that you purchase this dress immediately!? haha, I own it in black, love love love it! ( for those of you that follow along it was the Opera dress!)  How amazing is it in red!?

I've read all over that you can wear florals in the winter. Ehhh...I'm skeptical. For me, it has to be the perfect mix of floral and wintery colors. This darkness is not usually what you find in most florals. When I found this top I knew I had finally found the perfect winter floral! I'll link some more I have found in case this pink floral is not for you. I took the opportunity to pop a bright color in this outfit with my favorite pink coat.  Oh, and this new Tory Burch wallet is amazing.. a spot for everything and such a classic piece.

Adding a pop of color is one of my favorite things to do during the winter, but when I am buying bright colors I also think about how they will transition into the next season. Yellow is supposed to be big for spring which I am excited about because it is such a happy color. I also love these booties that I just picked up at Target for $6! They were the last pair and I seriously love them!

Sometimes Mondays are such a struggle and I don't want to change out of my pajamas to run errands. Those are the days I look for the comfiest thing in  my closet to throw on...I love this cozy fleece from Target...it's the best for my chilly outdoor runs but I also use it as an everyday cozy winter staple!

I was reading in some magazine last week that wearing bright colors in the winter instantly gives you a boost. I guess it might be true because color just always makes me happy. This cocoon sweater is totally going to be on repeat, it has so many bright colors in it, and is so comfy! It caught my eye immediately at Francescas and of course there were a million pieces of jewelry that completed the outfit perfectly...love that store. Also these sunnies look an awful lot like the Prada Sunnies I've been drooling over...EXCPET THEY ARE UNDER $15. Sorry Prada, maybe next time. ;)

I'm in Minneapolis for the weekend visiting my sister and her family for her Birthday.
Happy Birthday weekend Chessa!! (doesn't she have the prettiest name?? How did I get one of the most common names...like ever?)
My mom and I drove together and listened to the Serial podcast the entire way there (five hours..ouch) It's so addicting which makes it perfect for a road trip. I urge you to download it...now. :)
How do you guys get through a road trip? Audiobooks have always been my saving grace.

 I love love love this plaid shirt, I wear it with everything from oversized sweaters, layered over a tee or with a cute vest but it is also so cute on its own! I'm definitely more of a color person, but I also think that having great neutral pieces is essential to building your wardrobe. They are typically the easiest combination to put together and that is great for days where you are struggling to put an outfit together. I love this sweater because of the leather elbow patches, it takes a basic sweater and adds the perfect detail. Also, I've been wearing these boots like crazy lately. They make my legs look longer and that is always a good thing!

I love this olive green color and am so excited that will be so popular again this spring. Its so easy to mix with different prints or great as a neutral. I love this belt also, girly details are definitely something I am a sucker for. I will plan an entire outfit around one accessory that I love...in this case this adorable belt from Target! Sometimes the smallest details of your outfit are what take it to the next level. Warby Parker Home Try On

So I need new glasses....like really really need new glasses. The pair I currently wear accidentally got too close to my curling iron, and so now one side is super warped and melted. Sad :(

 Now my week is up and little miss indecisive still can't choose which she likes the most. HELP!!! Any of you glasses wearing friends should seriously try this...most frames start at $95 which is awesome for prescription lenses...especially ones as trendy and fun as these. I selected a ton in this violet magnolia color because I am obsessed with it, its like a normal tortoise but when the light hits it you see flecks of violet which is pretty cool I think.
