AH, oh my goodness I am in love with this blanket scarf. The colors are so perfect for the holiday season and it is just the perfect thing to wear with leggings while you are out and about! I did some major holiday shopping this weekend and also already have most presents wrapped. I was a total elf!! I picked up this hat while I was out shopping too, It is so warm and cozy!! 

This would be a perfect outfit if you are traveling around the holidays!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Dave was in Chicago for an interview so I went there Friday night for dinner with his family. We poured over photos from his parents most recent state park trip to the badlands. They visit a state park every year and are trying to check each off their list. This is totally something Dave and I would love to do! We are thinking Alaska or Canada next summer for a fun adventure!

Sometimes my favorite outfits are the most simple. I love jeans paired with a great white top. I love this one because of the deep v-neck. ALSO. These new leopard heels are AMAZING.

I love to have an array of comfy dresses in my closet. That go-to comfy thing you can always throw on... I love this dress from +Forever 21 because it is such a great basic to build an outfit upon. I threw on this vest for some texture and this fun necklace to complete the look. This dress actually comes in FOUR colors I just realized....I am definitely going to order the gray because when its $10.90...why not?

One of my favorite things to do is to go through my own closet and put outfits together but I also get my inspiration from so many other places; other bloggers, fashion magazines or just a color combination I find somewhere. I love the blogger Jessica from Wear it For Less (check her out!!). I saw a similar outfit to this on her blog and had so many pieces of the outfit in my closet already that I just had to put it together. I love it because all aspects of this outfit are basics but it still really looks pulled together. Where do you get inspiration from?
