5 Lipstick Shades for fall

Sweater // Scarf // Jeans (faves and on sale!) // Booties (WATERPROOF!!) // Lipstick: D for Danger

I love fall because it's the time of year when I can pull out my favorite lipstick shades. The dark berry colors and fall neutrals that complement so many skin tones and can make a huge statement.
Here are my five favorites in no particular order.

1.  Craving - This color is great for everyday wear. I go through this tube the most just because it can be worn with anything!

2.  D for Danger- This is what I am wearing in my pictures, the tube looks darker than it is in my opinion. It's a perfect berry hue for fall!

3.  Sin- This is a super dark berry color that I love for date night!

4.  Lily Lake - Fall plaids, and leopard prints, just about everything looks good with this color and it's easier on your bank account too!

5.  Capricious- This is another everyday favorite of mine, its a perfect neutral for everyday and looks so great with big cozy sweaters in oatmeal, ivory and gray!

Lila's Newborn Photoshoot

I can't beleive I have waited so long to share these beautiful photos! Time flies with a newborn and on top of that we have just been so busy with family and friends that this just kept getting pushed to the side. I am in love with these photos and will cherish them forever. It seems so crazy looking back on these because Lila has changed SO much in the three weeks since these were taken.
We used Elizabeth Nord as our photographer for these photos. She was AMAZING, so sweet and just made us feel so comfortable in our home. She recently had a baby girl herself so she just got it...she knew the photos we would want and cherish...like the photos of her tiny toes, the details of her nursery and just capturing the raw first moments of us as a family of three. Her wedding photography is beyond dreamy too!!

Look at that hair!! Daddy's girl for sure!

I am so glad we have some shots in her nursery. We chose to go with neutral shades and then add blush pink and ROSES OF COURSE for our Lila Rose! We still have a lot to hang on her walls but it's almost there!

She is such a joy!

We used this photo above for her birth announcement! I just love it!!

I have already framed this photo above...there is just something about dads and daughters that has always made my heart melt, it has now been amplified x 1000 seeing Dave with Lila.

We had to put Lila in an oversized bow...because well why not?
