There is always that one piece that you fall in love with every single season. This has got to be the item for my summer wardrobe....I would wear it out every single weekend if I could! I love the eyelash lace, the contrast of the lace with the lining and I love the wrap front!! It would be such a fun outfit for a bachelorette party!

I have never neglected the blog so long in my life. I am so happy to be back and so sorry for my absence. The holidays are my absolute favorite time of the year, I was completely unplugged from my devices and just spent so much quality time with my family. It was so wonderful and much needed. My family keeps growing, so the house around the holidays is a full one. The silence that occurs once everyone leaves is the saddest silence I know. Dave thinks I get slightly depressed on the day I realize Christmas really is over. It's probably a little true, the days just fly by!! I need a month of christmas I swear!!

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all had a great week and didn't have too much trouble adjusting back to the work life. I know Monday was ROUGH for me. I am heading to a hockey game in Madison tonight to watch my cousin play and to see some good college friends. On saturday Dave and I will be heading to Chicago to the Opera! With Dave living in DC we have not had many opportunities to attend the opera anymore. Now that he is home for a month from school we are making sure to do our favorite things in Chicago!

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!

This dress is one of my favorite articles of clothing I have ever owned. My mind often drifts off to potential outfits and sometimes I REALLY fall in love with my ideas. I love this entire outfit from head to toe and loved putting it together. This is a complete outfit to me because it has so many components...so much personality. Just like me!

P.S: This dress is going to be on repeat going into fall with opaque black tights.

I've been wearing a whole lot of red white and blue on the blog this week in anticipation for this upcoming weekend. This blue dress would look so cute with a red lip and white sandals! I am spending the weekend between Chicago & Wisconsin and can't wait to see so many family and friends. I have a half day on Thursday and Friday off which gets me SO excited for weekend festivities. Lace Kimono

Layers are a springtime essential with the varying temperatures. Kimonos are a favorite piece of mine to layer with because they are flowy, so comfortable and can be paired with so much! I love this +Forever 21 lace one because you can put it over anything, which is great for all my printed tanks! I don't know why I am having such a hard time linking it up for you but if you are looking for it it is the 'floral lace dolman cardigan'.
