Primary Color Accents

I love love love mixing primary colors for accents. I am also drawn towards pairing a red lip with a yellow sweater or in this case these amazing jeweled flats! Do you have color combos that you are driven towards? I paired these bright colors with a super blank canvas of black and white. The sleeves on this sweater are so fun and add some fashion to an otherwise basic sweater.

I am also so in love with this new drug store lipstick find! It is such a bright fun shade for the upcoming holiday season.

YAY! It's friday. I am celebrating Thanksgiving with my family this weekend because I will be in Chicago with Daves family next week. I am so excited to also do some decorating with my mom this weekend. I am so ready for all things Christmas!!

I wore this outfit running out to the grocery store with Dave last weekend in DC. We made the yummiest crock pot beef roast!! My denim is the secret that I want to tell you all about. I am denim obsessed, I hoard denim, I really truly do. I need some new denim so so badly but have not had the time to go to Nordstrom and try on 7000 pairs…which is always what I have to do. Whenever I need denim fast and cheap I go to Zara. I think the quality is great and most pairs are $39. I wear a size 6 consistanty across all styles and each time the fit is perfect. I think that Zara is truly world class in fit. I would recommend these jeans to anyone who needs to add a few more pairs to their wardrobe or if you are not yet ready to spend a big chunk of change on designer.

Blog posts may be a bit spotty for the next week. I just moved into my new apartment and we still don't have internet! Ill post pictures of the apartment soon, its so cute!

I love wearing all black, it makes me feel so put together and it always a great go to  when you don't know what to wear. I think that this top is a great little black top to have on hand in your closet. I love it with this skirt that I have told you guys about before, but I will also love it paired with high waisted dark denim and sky high heels for the weekend! I will also be pairing it with my fave red lip!

Happy Monday!!
I am all moved into my new apartment!! It was so fun setting everything up and decorating but I am exhausted. Dave was there to help me move in which helped things move smoothly. He is moving to DC in a week so he is apartment hunting himself as well! We are transitioning from our Miluwakee to Chicago every weekend life to a Milwaukee to DC every couple weeks type of life. If anyone has any restaurant suggestions in DC please let me know!! 

About this skirt though...I AM OBSESSED. Denim skirts are making a major comeback and if you don't own one yet, I suggest you get this one! Its not actually denim and it is so so soft!
