I absolutely love the style of this dress and have been hunting for one for a while now. I loved the print on this one but how I could pair it will all black for a sleeker look. It is perfect to wear with my favorite over the knee boots that are still on major sale right now!! I took these photos last week and all this beautiful snow is already gone, I love when the city is covered in snow!

Primary Color Accents

I love love love mixing primary colors for accents. I am also drawn towards pairing a red lip with a yellow sweater or in this case these amazing jeweled flats! Do you have color combos that you are driven towards? I paired these bright colors with a super blank canvas of black and white. The sleeves on this sweater are so fun and add some fashion to an otherwise basic sweater.

I am also so in love with this new drug store lipstick find! It is such a bright fun shade for the upcoming holiday season.

Pink has always been a color I have been super drawn too, it is such a happy color and such a statement maker. It is also so girly and I am a huge fan of anything girly and fabulous.

I wore these shorts in Florida on vacation and cannot wait to wear them again this summer. They are so light and are perfect for wearing during the day or you can definitely dress them up with heels for a summer night out!

I have not blogged since I have returned from my amazing European getaway. It was the end of Daves second year of Law School and it was so amazing to spend 8 straight days with him, that is a LONG time when you are in a long distance relationship! 

Today I wanted to share some photos from our pool and beach days on the Island of Capri. It is absolutely the most gorgeous place I have ever been. I completely fell in love with Capri and will be going back! Dave and I swam through a cave, we saw Jelly Fish in the bluest water you could ever imagine and ate the most amazing seafood lunch with equal parts champagne at La Fontelina Beach Club. It was amazing!

I love the scallop trim on this dress, its the perfect black shift dress with a little bit of character. I just purchased this skirt that also has the scalloped trim and cannot wait to wear it! I also had this outfit on orginally with these leopard print heels but spilled triple sec all over them in a trip from my car to my apartment so they I am photographed in my favorite steve madden wedge!

Happy Monday!!
I am all moved into my new apartment!! It was so fun setting everything up and decorating but I am exhausted. Dave was there to help me move in which helped things move smoothly. He is moving to DC in a week so he is apartment hunting himself as well! We are transitioning from our Miluwakee to Chicago every weekend life to a Milwaukee to DC every couple weeks type of life. If anyone has any restaurant suggestions in DC please let me know!! 

About this skirt though...I AM OBSESSED. Denim skirts are making a major comeback and if you don't own one yet, I suggest you get this one! Its not actually denim and it is so so soft!

I love my cousin Haley and her style because it is so versatile. She can wear a preppy outfit, or a bohemian chic style and always look fabulous. I think it is important to change up your wardrobe and have fun with clothes! These slouchy pants have been so popular but I love her printed pair.
