I love a pop of red for the Holidays. It's not a color I wear a lot but I love how much it stands out. I chose a red gown for our engagement pictures because of how much red stands out in photographs. This would be a great top to wear for any holiday pictures! 

If the cold shoulder isn't your thing, but still love the festive look for the holidays I also love this top.

The mad rush of holiday shopping has begun! I love hunting for the perfect gifts for everyone on my list and I am proud to say I have completely finished my holiday shopping...ON DECEMBER 3rd PEOPLE!

Now I  have to make sure that I am holiday ready!! 

Here are some of the biggest trends for this Holiday Season...I just had to have so many of these items!! I've linked these above as well as so many others at the bottom of this post!

Velvet is everywhere right now, and is just so glamorous and perfect for the holidays. 

Plaid & sparkle are holiday staples and I just cannot get enough. The bow on the plaid sleeveless top is just absolutely amazing and is going to be my Christmas Eve outfit! I plan to wear it with these red lace up heels (you will never believe where I got them!) & the J.Crew Martie Pant in Black!

Cozy lounge options are also a necessity during the holidays. I love these over the knee socks and cannot wait to get them in the mail, curl up with hot cocoa and watch White Christmas!

Red Holiday Vest

Vests are absolutely essential during the holiday season. They give you extra warmth but allow you to move which is essential when cookie baking, present wrapping and tree decorating need to happen in the same day!! I am in love with this red from +J.Crew Factory which is currently sold out, but I absolutely love the white and the light gray as well!! Both of those colors would look great over a cozy red sweater!

Dave has to come home from DC for an interview tomorrow so I unexpectedly get to see him again this weekend. Two weekends in a row! My heart is so happy!

I love this flouncy skirt, it is so flirty and fun and just something I think everyone should own. The color is also awesome and definitely makes a statement. It will be fun over the holiday season as well with black tights!

Six Lipsticks every girl should own

I am an absolute lipstick junkie. I love the power lipstick has over your look, how it can brighten your complexion and add an entirely new element to your look. It is my absolute favorite accessory and one I rarely go a day without wearing. 

The Classic color every girl should own;

I live for a classic red lip. I would wear it everyday and even to the gym if I could. I'm obsessed. I have two favorite reds at very different price points. I love my +MAC Cosmetics Ruby woo for a matte finish, the color is bold and you get a retro look that stays in place. What I don't like about matte lipsticks in general is that they do not glide on, it doesn't feel great to run this lipstick over your lips. BUT we do it for the look. My favorite and only drug store lipstick I have ever fallen for is this +COVERGIRL red, I own three tubes because I can never be without it. It is the perfect red for my skin tone, looks great with blue eyes and I swear it makes my teeth look pearly white. 

 The Fun color every girl should own;

 For a bright party look I absolutely love Mac Impassioned, its a bright coral that is an instant mood lifter. I wear this most weekends!

 The Girly Color every girl should own;

MACS Pink Nouveau is pretty close to Barbie Pink and looks amazing with a smokey eye. This is a basic pink you should have in your collection

The Bold Color every girl should own;

A bold lip is all the rage right now and everyone should try it. Le Fuchsia is a super bright and bold pink and I personally love the formula of +Yves Saint Laurent lipsticks. They are so smooth, moisturizing and SUPER pigmented.

 The Carefree color every girl should own;

I am so so so crazy about this lipcolor. It reminds me of a balm, gloss, lipstick in one. It is not that long lasting but is super easy to reapply. No mirror needed. I always have this color in my bag because it is easy to throw on while out and about running errands. The best part is the taste/smell of this one.....Its OH so amazing!

Flamenco

These are pictures from what I think may have been one of the best experiences of my life. My best friend and her good friend Rocio decided they were going to dress me up in Flamenco! Rocio is the absolute sweetest for taking time to do this with me...I just love her.

 She brought three dresses and it was so incredibly hard to decide which one to wear. I've never worn anything like this and it was such an amazing experience to have. Lauren is in the process of designing her dress for Feria in April. I am so jealous, that is something I would love to do! 

These pictures were exactly what I needed to post on the blog today because I am missing Spain and Lauren so incredibly much already. The entire trip was perfect, I loved everyone I met and everything I saw. I can't wait to visit again.

Carry The Love with Vera Bradley

 I have teamed up with Vera Bradley to Carry the Love this Valentines Day. Only a week away!  What are your plans, I would love to hear! I love Valentines Day because it is a day to really appreciate all the wonderful people in my life and let them know how much they mean to me.  I also love pink, roses, and chocolate so i'm sure those are also contributing factors to why I love it so much!!
Since we are on the subject of love... I have also loved Vera Bradley for years, and am especially excited about some new items they have, including this leather cross body! It is such a perfect size and has three compartments inside which I love because it helps to keep my bag organized.

 I also turn to Vera Bradley for all of my travel needs, I am heading to Europe at the end of this month to visit my soul mate of a best friend Lauren and am thinking that this bag is a must have! Also, how cute is this Ruffle Makeup Bag and Jewelry Organizer? 

These would be amazing for any of you with Spring break plans!!
