Red Holiday Vest

Shirt // Vest // Watch // Bracelet (super similar) // Denim // Booties (similar) // Lipstick: Le Rouge // Handbag // Furry Keychain! (almost identical!)

Vests are absolutely essential during the holiday season. They give you extra warmth but allow you to move which is essential when cookie baking, present wrapping and tree decorating need to happen in the same day!! I am in love with this red from +J.Crew Factory which is currently sold out, but I absolutely love the white and the light gray as well!! Both of those colors would look great over a cozy red sweater!

Gingham? Check.

Top // Denim (similar) // Watch // Cuff // Sunnies (similar) // Lipcolor: Jungle Red // Heels (similar)

I'm crazy about Gingham. I have worn my gingham check button down to death! Dave and I went to bruch on Sunday and on our way back to my apartment I spied this top in the window at Anthro.
IT ALWAYS STARTS WITH WINDOW SHOPPING!
I was a goner, I knew this top was coming home with me. It would also look adorable with white skinnies!

Pink Gingham

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this fun take on gingham for spring. Pink is definitely one of my favorite colors to wear and I probably buy way too much of it, but I can't get enough! I love it with jeans for now but it is going to look so cute with white denim for spring and summer! In other news....I'm reading a great new book All the Light we cannot See. a WWII story that I am really enjoying.  I have a couple flights coming up and I need some more book suggestions, let me know if you have a favorite!

Who else is crazy jealous of everyone at NYFW right now!?! AHHH!

Spring Wishlist

This is my least favorite season/time to dress for, this winter spring transition. I am not interested in big cozy sweaters that the weather insists upon most days but I also can't wear any of the cute new things for spring yet, the shoes are my biggest struggle!
I thought I would compile a little list of the things i'm dreaming about right now and that I will be purchasing once it starts getting a little warmer!!! There are also definitely pieces here that can be incorporated into my wardrobe right now but can also move forward into sunny days with me.
I'm loving this pretty Kendra Scott necklace that can be worn with everything!! I have also been craving a slouchy trench for awhile, I saw this one at Forever 21 on Saturday and I didn't buy it...I'm still in love with it (nothing haunts us like the things we didn't buy, right?)! Gingham is supposed to be huge for spring and I personally swear by this shirt, I bought mine last year and it's back in all sizes for you! I wear it with so much its definitely a closet staple for spring! If you know me you know i'm crazy about lipstick, I am loving the all white trend because I can choose any lipstick I want like these two pinks that I just adore!

Pop of Pink

Gingham Shirt: J.Crew // Polka Dot Sweater: J.Crew (similar here) // Vest: Old Navy ($20 PLUS 25% off with code PRANCER) // Denim: Paige // Handbag: Nordstrom (sold out) // Leopard Sneakers: DSW // Pearl Ring: Macy's // Lip Color : Park Ave Princess
// Watch: Marc Jacobs // Bracelet: Marc Jacobs

Darker colors and neutrals are definitely more popular during the winter months, but I crave color. I love adding pops of color into my winter wardrobe and this pink vest fills that role perfectly. If you are not one to wear pink this vest also comes in red which is fabulous! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Giverny, France

Three things I LOVE ;
Polka Dots
Layering
Red Lipstick

Gingham Top, lipstickPolka dot sweater (sold out) similar here & here , Necklace old similar; hereDenim Flats (absolutely best flats EVER)

Hey there! This post is about 4 months late...OOPS. But I always come back to this outfit and just love it. I love mixing patterns! This is definitely a trendy thing to do right now. I'm not sure how much longer it is going to last, SO...I'm taking full advantage. I went to Europe with my boyfriend in July and packing was something I took quite seriously. I had post its for every day of the trip set out on my dining room table, on each post it I had the date, and what we had planned for that day...then I planned my outfits accordingly. Because I wanted to have a cute outfit everyday I found that this was the easiest way to make sure I had a complete outfit without overpacking. I laid out everything from the clothes, to the jewelry to the handbag I would use. It was one of the best things i've ever done, I wore ever item I brought! These photos were taken in the absolutely breathtaking Giverney, France in the gardens of Claude Monet. If you ever find yourself in Paris, take a day trip to Giverney! The french countryside is beautiful!
