Flattering Black Jeans

Sweater // Black Denim // Handbag: Chanel Boy Bag // Booties  // Lipcolor: Beetroot

Good Morning!!!
It is so freezing cold in Chicago right now so give me all the cozy sweaters!! Sometimes I don't want all the bulk of a sweater, but still need the warmth, this off the shoulder sweater is perfect for that! These black jeans are also super flattering!! I love love love them! They sold out so fast from nordstrom but I found them here for 25% off today with code THANX25. I have washed them a couple of times now too and they have not faded which is usually a problem I have with black jeans! These are super comfy because of the stretch..I couldn't reccommend them more!

Checked Pinafore Dress

Dress // Top // Boots // Tights // Earrings: Chanel // Handbag: Chanel Boy Bag (similar here &  less expensive here)

I absolutely love the style of this dress and have been hunting for one for a while now. I loved the print on this one but how I could pair it will all black for a sleeker look. It is perfect to wear with my favorite over the knee boots that are still on major sale right now!! I took these photos last week and all this beautiful snow is already gone, I love when the city is covered in snow!

Navy & Black

Tunic // Leggings // Handbag (similar) // Lipcolor: Jungle Red // Sunglasses // Heels (similar)

SO...I bought this tunic to wear as a dress but the slits on the side make it too short for my tall self so I decided to pair it with a pair of leather leggings. I love the look...and love pairing navy with black which is such an unexpected color combo for me! If these colors aren't for you it also comes in white and black (super classy!) Pops of red for my shoes and lips complete the look....I never feel like an outfit is complete until I have selected a shade for my lips. I am LIP PRODUCT CRAZY!!

Moto Dress

Dress // Heels // Purse (similar) // Lipstick: Hot 305 // Sunglasses // Ear Cuff: H&M not online (yet...)

Hey guys, writing this on my flight home from DC. Dave and I had four days together which is CRAZY for us. We usually visit Dave's dad in Arizona over Dave's law school sprig break in March where we have a week together but other than that...our long distance relationship usually allows for two days together at the most. We made a decision when we decided to dive into the long distance thing that we wouldn't count the weekends but we would make the weekends count. We have an adventure every single moment we can, romantic dinners, plenty of movies and now most recently exploring a new city.

I loved DC! I hated the heat. Oh my goodness. 90's with 90% humidity almost everyday!!! That made walking around super difficult. Also (full disclosure) I get super crabby when I'm hot. Dave will attest to this! Ha! Literally my forehead was pouring sweat in these pics...not fun. But so worth it because everywhere you go there is something new, historical or beautiful!

I absolutely adore this black moto dress, and it will transition into fall and winter so perfectly, I wore it with open toe sandals for now but can totally incision this with tights booties and a deep red lip!

Yellow Lace Dress

Dress (size up...its so short! I'm wearing a 6) // Hat // Booties (similar & adore these) // Lipcolor: Jungle Red // Necklace // Handbag (similar and for under $300) //

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!

This dress is one of my favorite articles of clothing I have ever owned. My mind often drifts off to potential outfits and sometimes I REALLY fall in love with my ideas. I love this entire outfit from head to toe and loved putting it together. This is a complete outfit to me because it has so many components...so much personality. Just like me!

P.S: This dress is going to be on repeat going into fall with opaque black tights.

Current Obsessions

Straw Tote // YSL Lipstick in 27 // Chanel Chance // Mascara // Kate Spade Phone Case // Benefit Push Up Eyeliner // Bauble Bar Studs // Wet Brush

I have some new products that i'm absolutely obsessed with and had to share with all of you. I decided to write this post because I felt like it was my responsibility to let you all know how amazing this Benefit Push-Up eyeliner is. Haha! Its so easy to use and stays on ALL day. I bought the smaller size because I just wanted to test it out but know I will be purchasing the larger one soon. It is so easy to do winged liner with this! The applicator is so amazing and makes the smoothest line. I highly highly recommend this!!!

I am always always always trying new mascaras but I always come back to the Maybeline Great Lash and am currently obsessed with this particular brush...it's the "lots of lashes" one. Seriously great. Dave told me my eyes were sparkling when I had just this mascara on this weekend...haha he never comments on my makeup so this mascara really must have been working for me.

If you haven't tried the Wet Brush yet...can I humbly suggest that you go get one...like right now? I was studying the bristles on this brush trying to figure out what on earth the difference is between this and any other brush I own... I am stumped but it works SO well! I bought a mini one for my niece too...so any of you with kids who hate to have their hair brushed....get this!

I know a lot of people have spring breaks coming up and I have found the perfect budget friendly straw tote for you! I am obsessed with this one!

Some other favorites right now are this bright pink phone case, It was a little hard to push the buttons when I first got it but when you break it in its fab.  Bauble bar studs (awesome statement piece), this bright pink YSL color (to.die.for), and this lighter spring/summer scent (heaven in a bottle).

Happy Wednesday!!!

Classic Colors

Jacket: Old (similar) // Top // Skirt: Trouve (identical here) // Wedges // Handbag (similar) // Lips: Le Rouge // Nails: My Boyfriend Scales Walls // Sunglasses: Nordstrom

I've been back from Spain for about five days now and its honestly been the hardest thing ever. Starting with the jet lag, I can't seem to make it past 8pm and then I am wide awake at 5am! I've been in Arizona this weekend with my boyfriend so I'm hoping that I caught up on a little bit of sleep! It has also been hard leaving Spain because I left my best friend there....so far away from me. Spending a whole week with her reminded me how much I love being with her every single day doing everything with her even the little mundane things with her. She's my soul mate of a best friend.
Can you all help me convince her to move back to America? (Dani you can come too!) Also this trip was so different from how I have experienced Euope on my last trip. It was so fun to walk around with a local and not have to look at a map!

The classic red white and black combination is something I will never get sick of. Black and white always works and I pair a red lip with just about everything I can. I love love love this skirt I bought from Nordstrom this fall and I've linked an almost indenical one that is at Macys right now. This crop top is super cute with this skirt but I also wore it with high waisted black jeans. Its super versatile and its white which is one of my favorite colors to wear for spring summer.

Classic White Dress

My outfit; Dress: Asos // Heels: Jessica Simpson // Bag; Chanel (similar here) // Lips: Hot 305 // Watch: Kate Spade // Nails: My Boyfriend Scales Walls

Laurens Dress: Zara & Clutch: J.Crew

This was probably my favorite photo shoot...ever. I got to be with my best friend and in a beautiful city, she had me laughing the entire time. Actually I'm always laughing with this girl, I am so lucky to have her!
I am in love with this white dress from Asos, I love the way it fits and I know I will wear it like crazy heading into summer. Everyone needs a classy white dress and this can be dressed up or down so easily. I paired it with a classic red lip and nude heel but it will be fun with colorful wedges for the summer and a pink lipstick!
