I am so in love with this maxi it's not even funny. It is the perfect effortless maxi for dressy nights or casual days. I wore it in Milan with these heels and again in Capri with flip flops…again on the streets of Milwaukee in front of my favorite wine bar! This place is so much fun…the wine is fantastic but they also have yummy food like gourmet hot dogs. :) :)

I also love these heels, they are the perfect neutral color to wear with so many of my summer dresses and you cannot possibly beat the price!

I love everything about this dress; the color, the cutouts, the lace pattern. It is such a fun summer dress that you can dress up or down. I wore this dress on the Island Of Capri to dinner and got so many compliments…it definitely makes a statement!

I love white dresses so much. I don't know what it is about them but I honestly cannot have enough. Nothing screams summer more than a crisp white dress. 

Eyelet and girly details are a major trend for the summer and this dress has it all. I cannot wait to bring it with me to the Island of Capri!

WHOA. BRIGHT. Sorry about this...I just got a new lens for my camera and clearly when we shot these I was still getting used to it. Tomorrows pictures are better! We couldn't have retaken these anyway because we were literally melting in the sun. I got in the longest line ever at Ben & Jerrys right after this. I seriously get anxiety at ice cream places. I cannot make a decision to save my life. I got one scoop of strawberry and one scoop of cookies and cream...because those go together right? 

Anyway...this chambray dress is one of the items in my closet that I always grab. First of all I love the color...but it is also so easy to change up with lip stick or different color shoes...a scarf..anything!

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!

This dress is one of my favorite articles of clothing I have ever owned. My mind often drifts off to potential outfits and sometimes I REALLY fall in love with my ideas. I love this entire outfit from head to toe and loved putting it together. This is a complete outfit to me because it has so many components...so much personality. Just like me!

P.S: This dress is going to be on repeat going into fall with opaque black tights.

First off let me say that this is the perfect dress for just about everything!!! I love it for work, a wedding, a baby shower....It is so flattering and such a great color to have in your wardrobe. I paired my favorite lipstick color with it to up the fun factor a little more. 

I had the very best weekend with some of my best friends. They came to see my new apartment and to explore my new(ish) city with me. We had tacos and margaritas...and of course CHAMPAGNE! It was so fun to introduce my college friends to my new work friends and to even see some friends from as far back as high school! It was really fun to see people from all places in my life and see how you can relationships have changed and grown over the years. On Saturday Kelsey and I went to the Lakefront Brewery Tour in Milwaukee. We had so much fun learning about and drinking beer. It was overall a successful and amazing weekend filled with people I love. Four Days (AND COUNTING) until I am in DC with Dave and get to explore his new city! Can't wait!!

I love the scallop trim on this dress, its the perfect black shift dress with a little bit of character. I just purchased this skirt that also has the scalloped trim and cannot wait to wear it! I also had this outfit on orginally with these leopard print heels but spilled triple sec all over them in a trip from my car to my apartment so they I am photographed in my favorite steve madden wedge!
