Derby Bridal Shower

This past weekend my sister, sister-in-law and Godmother threw me the most gorgeous Kentucky Derby themed Bridal Shower. The space was gorgeous, the food was fantastic, the details were spot-on, but the women there were honestly what made the shower so unbelievably perfect. I feel so blessed to have such amazing and thoughtful people in my life.

My best friend Lauren put together these amazing goody bags with a bottle of La Marca Prosecco and a Voluspa candle! They were so perfect!

Throughout this wedding process I've really wanted to make sure I soaked up every single minute of each of these events...yes a bridal shower is tradition/customary but I made  a promise to myself to not let it feel like that. I want to appreciate and be present in every second of this wedding process because I only get to do this once. Each experience is the one and only time I get to do this!! I want to celebrate with the people I love and embrace every minute of this fun bridal journey.

White Lace Dress

Dresses are my go to item for spring and summer, they definitely are the most popular item in my closet. I love the sleeves on this dress, they are so pretty! I love starting an outfit with a blank slate such as black and white because I am such a lipstick lover and with black and white outfits you have the freedom to choose any color. I am obsessed with this YSL color Rose Intime, it smells so good I literally want to eat it! I saw Cinderella last night and LOVED it!! Cinderella is played by Lily James who is one of my favorite actresses from another staple show of mine, Downton Abbey.

This was probably my favorite photo shoot...ever. I got to be with my best friend and in a beautiful city, she had me laughing the entire time. Actually I'm always laughing with this girl, I am so lucky to have her!
  I am in love with this white dress from Asos, I love the way it fits and I know I will wear it like crazy heading into summer. Everyone needs a classy white dress and this can be dressed up or down so easily. I paired it with a classic red lip and nude heel but it will be fun with colorful wedges for the summer and a pink lipstick!
