Cozy Winter Outfit

HAPPY MONDAY!! I am in full holiday mode over here, I decorated my tree and have started checking gifts off my list. I feel like this outfit will be great for the holiday season. I am particularily obsessed with this sweater, it is fleece lined and so cozy! I would look super cute with jeans too! I bought these boots last year but they are currently on sale...I wear them with so much!! 

My lipstick is an absolute fave and a color I think looks so good on everybody. It is perfect for everyday and would be such a good color for Thanksgiving!

The mad rush of holiday shopping has begun! I love hunting for the perfect gifts for everyone on my list and I am proud to say I have completely finished my holiday shopping...ON DECEMBER 3rd PEOPLE!

Now I  have to make sure that I am holiday ready!! 

Here are some of the biggest trends for this Holiday Season...I just had to have so many of these items!! I've linked these above as well as so many others at the bottom of this post!

Velvet is everywhere right now, and is just so glamorous and perfect for the holidays. 

Plaid & sparkle are holiday staples and I just cannot get enough. The bow on the plaid sleeveless top is just absolutely amazing and is going to be my Christmas Eve outfit! I plan to wear it with these red lace up heels (you will never believe where I got them!) & the J.Crew Martie Pant in Black!

Cozy lounge options are also a necessity during the holidays. I love these over the knee socks and cannot wait to get them in the mail, curl up with hot cocoa and watch White Christmas!

Fall Neutrals

I love cozy fall neutrals that you can wear endless ways. It would be so easy to throw a pop of color into this outfit with a  burgundy hat or bag, I chose to keep it simple with my absolute favorite fall color. It is the perfect everyday color and looks good on so many skin tones! I wore it this weekend while trying on wedding dresses and also decided that it the most perfect color for our wedding...not too dark but just enough color!

One for One with Tom's

I spent the weekend in Minneapolis visiting my family. My sister and one of my brothers live there. I have been missing my nieces so incredibly much that I decided to take a three day weekend and head up to Minnesota to spend some time with them. I took Lucia to Build A Bear at the Mall of America on Friday. She loved it so much! She made a bunny and named her Princess Banana Peel. She was so excited that we had to throw a Birthday Party for her bunny that night, we went and picked up cupcakes. She chose a carrot cake for the bunny because well...bunnies like carrots of course!! She is such a clever three year old. We had the best time just laughing and playing and spending quality time together. I am so in love with my wonderful family!!! We started the countdown until Christmas when we will all be together...now only 45 days!

I wore this scarf out and about on Saturday and it is so warm and cozy. I ended up wrapping it around me more like a shawl because it felt warmer to me that way...you can also see more of the pattern and the pretty colors in the scarf this way!

I am also obsessed with these +TOMS wedges, they are so comfortable & stylish but they are so much more than that! I am a huge advocate for children across the world..from my own nieces to the children I had the privelage of meeting in an orphanage in China. Any company that gives back to children is pretty awesome in my book, that is why I have always been and will continue to be a huge fan of Toms and all that they stand for.

I have been absolutely swooning over so many of the fall collections out there right now. I am particularly obsessed with everything H&M has put out there. Cozy sweaters, drapey fabrics and so many pieces for layering!! I picked up this dress in stores yesterday and cant wait to wear it with tights and OTK boots!

This blanket scarf is going to be HUGE this fall I just know it, so grab it now because these always sell out.

I love finding cute comfortable new pieces to run errands in or to spend a lazy sunday afternoon. Oversized or flowy tops with leggings are typically my weekend uniform! And this whole outfit is 40% off....that will make your Wednesday. I love love love these leggings... they are my favorite pair and certainly the item I am most likely to rip apart my closet looking for...which always always ends in such a disaster! You can be so comfy and warm without sacrificing style in the slightest. I am in LOVE with this particular sweater from Mainstream Boutique. I may never take it off actually.... The red in it is so bright and shows off my red accessories so perfectly. These booties are AMAZING too! Furry booties, my toes are in heaven!! Also, if you haven't invested in fingerless gloves yet, may I humbly suggest that you do? They make checking Instagram so much easier! ;) Happy Thursday everyone!
