I've been buying a lot of denim lately. I usually am willing to spend a little more on my denim because it is something that I wear a lot and will last for quite a while. (I never dry my denim and wash it sparingly) I have read statements by both the Levis CEO and Tommy Hilfiger that say to never machine wash you jeans or even wash them in general! I personally could never do that but I do try to go a few days without washing them to help them keep their color. I am also crazy about this new kimono I picked up. I love kimonos because they are such an easy item to throw on. I love it now with denim but I will also be pairing this over boho sundresses this spring and summer with these cute new wedges I just bought!
 These shoes are also super cute...I have a serious love hate relationship with +Target. I can't even just go in there for one thing, I love EVERYTHING, I call it the Target Vortex and I just can't escape it. These shoes were my latest Target buy and I'm obsessed with the leather cap toe! They also came in leopard which were also adorable!

Cozy Winter Weekend

I had an absolute crazy weekend in Chicago with the blizzard yesterday. I live an hour and a half  from Chicago and it took over 5 hours to get home! I had to use an ice scraper to shovel a path for my car, the train station parking lot was not plowed! Then my car had to be pushed out of the parking lot. It was INSANE! 

I am crazy about open cardigans because you can throw them over a comfy white tee which is one of my favorite things to wear! I am loving the bright spring colors in this sweater but love that is it still keeping me warm...especially in all this snow!
