Spring Makeup Routine

I am so excited to share my current makeup routine with you all! I have found so many good products lately and it is about time I compile all of it into a blog post for you.

1. FOUNDATION:  The first two products I use are these two foundation products. I am obsessed with this foundation because it is full coverage but also is super hydrating and has the added benefit of anti-aging and sunscreen!! SO perfect for these warming temps when we will all be in the sun a little bit more! I use the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter in addition to the IT cosmetics foundation to add a serious dewy glow. You can also just use the flawless filter if you are looking for lighter coverage!

2. CONCEALER:  Next I do my concealer. I recently switched over to this Tarte concealer and it is a total game changer. I have had such bad dark under eye circles since becoming a mom (hello sleep deprivation) haha! But this has seriously helped me sooo much. I wear a shade quite a bit lighter to help brighter the area. Use a damp beauty blended to get the best coverage!

3. CONTOUR & BLUSH: Next up is the countour.. I know this already seems like a lot of steps but this whole routine takes me less that like 12 minutes! There are two ways I like to contour... my everyday contour with this bronzer. Or my more long lasting contour for days I am shooting outfits or going out etc! On those days I use this drug store stick foundation in shade 'Coconut' . I apply it to my cheeks, outer ridges of nose and forehead...I blend it all in with my damp beauty blender again.  I then apply my blush...my gold standard is still NARS 'Orgasm'.

4. POWDER & HIGHLIGHT: Over the top of everything I apply my absolute favorite product...this amazing glow translucent powder..It makes my skin look sooo much better! I then apply some highlighter to cheek bones and tip of my nose!!

5. EYES: The last product I absolutely have to share is my mascara primer...you can use this with whatever mascara you are currently using and you guys.... I swear this makes them so much thicker and longer. Absolute must have if you get one item from todays post!!

Here is my gift guide for the beauty lovers in your life!! I love all of these items so much and I'm sure anyone on your list would as well. This lipgloss is amazing and I love it in the color bound! The Jo Malone perfume in Peony and Blush Suede is an absolute favorite of mine, if you have not tried this brand before you definitely should! 

I received this dermaroller as part of a collab a couple of months ago and I cannot tell you how much I loved it! I use it with this vitamin C serum and I feel like my face is so much smoother, and brighter.

Sephora Sale

Most of these products are my tried and true beauty essentials. I always like to stock up on the products I constantly use whenever sephora has one of their sales. 

My favorite skin care products are my facewash by Kiehl's, my Kiehl's toner and my Clinique moisturizer. The facewash works so well with my Clarisonic and make my face feel so clean and smooth after each use! My toner is my favorite because it makes my skin extra squeaky clean without drying my skin out in the slightest. My all time favorite moisturizing is the Clinque Moisture Surge. I recently switched to the intense version because my skin was so dry this winter!

I am always always wearing lipstick and one of my favorite brands is Bite Beauty...this is a great time to stock up on favorites or try a new color becuase these hardly ever go on sale.  I love Cayenne for a bright true red. I use this Dior Lip Balm like craaaazy!! It is the best ever formula and it changes the color of your lips to the prettiest shade and leaves them SUPER moisturized.

My current favorite Mascara is the Two Faced Better than sex mascara, it adds so much volume to my lashes! The brow pencil I currently use is the Anastasia beverly hills Brow Wiz....I could not live without this!!

A new product I am trying during the sale is the Alterna Kendi oil. My hair is consistantly a little dry due to the long winter and heat styling so I am excited to try this to add a little gloss to my locks!
