I love white dresses so much. I don't know what it is about them but I honestly cannot have enough. Nothing screams summer more than a crisp white dress. 

Eyelet and girly details are a major trend for the summer and this dress has it all. I cannot wait to bring it with me to the Island of Capri!

Dave and I hit so many touristy spots in DC this weekend. I took these photos in front of the Reflecting pool outside the Lincoln Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial is SO much bigger than I had imagined it to be.  Dave is the absolute best person to bring with to museums or historical places because he is like an encyclopedia. He teaches me so much!!! I never had a knack for remembering history...dates, figures....but he knows it all and I love having him around. 

onto the outfit...I absolutely adore this skirt! It was perfect for walking around DC...especially paired with this light tank you guys have seen me wear at least a dozen times! I am going back to DC in October and am hoping for cooler temps.

Some of my favorite styles to wear are actually inspired by the guys. I'm sure you have all heard of the boyfriend jean as they have been around for quite awhile but what is newer to the game is the "girlfriend" jean....which is just a little more fitted than the boyfriend. I picked up this pair from Mainstream Boutique but they are also available at +Nordstrom  and I linked them there for you! They are my favorite jeans right now and they are only $54! I'm also loving this new lip butter gloss that I picked up at +ultabeauty ... it is so crazy pigmented for a gloss!

I absolutely love white denim for spring and summer. I am always wearing more bright colors around this time of the year and I always feel like they look better against white denim. I almost always go up a size in white denim because I don't like to wear it as tight as I do with my normal denim. I love the pair I am wearing here because they are super comfy!

Also...I cannot believe that easter is already this weekend, I have the cutest Easter Dress and cannot even wait to wear it!
