Winter, wrap it up.

Wrap Poncho: Sole Society (sold out) // Tank // Distressed Denim // Mules (mine are target last year!) // Handbag // Hat // Lipcolor; Rhubarb

Happy Tuesday everyone!!
I am so ready for spring to be here in full force. I was to wear cute skirts and dresses without tights! In the meantime I will stick with light layers such as this wrap, lightening it up with an open toed mule!

Blush Trench + Florals

Floral Top // Dark Denim // Blush Trench Coat (similar here & here) // Nude Flats //
Lipstick; Impassioned // Tassel Handbag

I knew that a blush trench for spring was number one on my list of essentials for the season. Its such an easy way to apply a little bit of trend to such a classic piece. I love this one because it is so soft and just the right weight for the spring transition. It looks so cute with this floral top but I also have been wearing it with white jeans which really makes the blush pop.
Speaking of jeans, I have told all of you about my current +Levi's®  infatuation and here is another testament to that. This particular pair is from +Kohl's  (!!!) and is the perfect dark color…I'm obsessed!
I love tops like these because they are so easy to transition in your wardrobe, they are perfect for work, but make you look so put together when you simply throw them on with a pair of jeans. Never underestimate the power of a good button up. :)

Spring Stripes

Ruffle Top // Striped Skirt // Tassel Crossbody Bag // Nude Flats // Leopard Belt //  Lipstick; Pink Nouveau // Cateye Sunglasses // Gold Watch

I had the best weekend in DC with Dave. The weather in Wisconsin has been less than ideal so I warmly welcomed the 80 degrees with 90% humidity. We walked around the Jeffereson Memorial and Tidal Basin area to see the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. I am so glad we went when we did because I feel like the petals were already starting to fall so much!
Dave had a lot of studying to do this weekend, but even simply sitting together is comforting! I guess that is what you get used to in a long distance relationship!
I use my time to plan our trip to Europe, I've researched the best restaurants and shopped for some cute outfits!
